OK, This might take a little to understand so I'll try to keep it simple.
I've been a Customer of ATT since 1997 and I've been passed through all the buy outs and Cingular ball out and passed to the at&t as it is today.
Problem , we replaced 2 phones back in 2001 and have not had any problems til this year, wife dropped her phone and it was run over, grand daughter had a spare V3 Razor gsm phone, I broke mine last week when I slipped on the ice and landed on it , 6102i
I went to the at&t store to buy a new phone, after waiting 3 hours I found out that my plan if changed to 3G with the same mins I have now would cost 138.00 per month (not including data plan ? mobile internet i think) ...
My GSM plan is simple 1250 anytime 7pm to 7am free, free moblie to mobile all for 83.50 per month. ...
OK here is the problem 1 of the customer service rep's stated I just needed 2 of the Cingular 3G sim cards or blue New at&t sim cards to upgrade my plan to 3g ?
I ordered both sim cards and found 1 extra style cingular sim so I ordered it also. I took all plus 2 3G phones and my broken phone and razor also. When I got there customer rep #1 was with customer and I got on the list. He left for lunch before I came up on the list and 1 hr and 10 mins I findly got to talk with #2 customer service rep. She looked at everything and pulled my sim cards and went to the back room, 15 mins later she came back out and stated the Store could not up grade my ATT sim cards to any 3G sims ? They can't even carry over my old Phone numbers to a new Contract with at&t ?
What is correct ?
Anybody have a clue ?
Can I go anywhere else and get my 3G sim cards programed with my phone number ?
And yes I have ordered 2 Old School Razors from Hong Kong and a spare 6102i from Amazon.com
so I can keep what I have going. Using a 6310 with that worn out V3 razor til they get here.
Any info is welcome.

Yes, the 2 3g phones I have are 1 Nokia 6555 1 samsung A107
(would up grade to Tundrss or rugby's later.)
