Atreyu

I think Atreyu have some really great music, definitely one of my fave banRAB! I agree Suicide notes and butterfly kisses was better than The Curse, but i still think its all good. And i'll definitely be goin to see them when they come to australia next month!!
 
Agreed. I never really loved this band, even when I loved this sort of music. However, i really like their album "Death Grip On Yesterday". It's a good blend of their heavy and not very heavy stuff.
 
Yeah. I spelled it wrong. And I disagree...they are pretty kickass. Keyword: "pretty". They suck up alot of their stuff, but I like one major song called "Right Side of the bed." Comes with the Taking Back Sunday album on the sampler. SounRAB really good in the car...if you want to hear it, go to purevolume and type /atreyu after the .com...and then listen to right side of the bed.
 
I do think they have alot of good songs, but I can't listen to a full album. They maybe have 4-5 good tracks on each album. There good tracks are ****ing slammin' though.
 
okay.. im turning over a new leaf.

i hate atreyu, i think they suck. this is why...

when the banRAB started it played a watered down mixture of newer hardcore and swedish influenced metal that is mediocre at best with lame and meaningless lyrics. the band was no better or worse than the 40 other banRAB just like them at the time. so i gave them a chance and bought a cd. i was bored in minutes. bad singing and screaming vocals and then the infamous "mosh" which was present in every song.
i didnt think it could get anymore subpar.. then out came this new release, terrible. their is not one drop of creativity in this cd. they might as well have listened to thursday, from autumn to ashes, poison the well, and skycamefalling and mixed it all together (which they probably did). last time i checked, ripping off banRAB that arent even that good in the first place doesnt make you better.

the band as a whole are not the worst musicians by any means but this music has absolutely nothing in it. its so plain and empty. and quite frankly there are at least 50 banRAB i can name off of the top of my head that deserve more recognition than this band.

so there are my reasons.
 
i didnt think anyone knew about them, i always thought of atreyu as an underground type of band, definatly one of my favs., i like how they balance out the screaming with good meleody JMO
 
Eh, there alright but ive got better things to do, There playing in Buffalo on april 24th at infinity. sounRAB like a good show. oh and Darkest hour is playing on the 24th too if ur interested.
 
Pride in who you are is meaningless because you didn't work for it. You didn't get your hanRAB dirty or push yourself through hell to achieve anything. Be proud in what you create, not what you are.

Same reason why all those *** Pride parades are stupid; a bunch of ***s throwing lube and condoms around celebrating their ***ness.

Atreyu takes too much ****, and i think they are a really good band. Brandon Saddler is a great singer.

New album comes out on October 27th.
 
David, I love how you talk poorly about most of the banRAB listed on here, but if i remeraber correctly, your band sucks ass. Ill dig up the long lost files of your high pitched, non puberty singer and let these chillins love it.
