Oh my, that video was stunning!! :eek: :clap: Wow, it was so pretty and well edited. Amazing job! Loved the saturated look and the cuts with the music & the images.
 
Me! I was a book fan before I was a movie fan.

The book is actually my all-time favorite book and when I heard it was going to be adapted into a film - and the added news that it was going to be directed by my favorite director and my fave actress (Keira) and my fave actor (James) were gonna star - I nearly died, as you can only imagine. :lol:

The Golden Globes are still going on, they're just not being televised this year. That was the agreement that the Hollywood Foreign Press made with the WGA and SAG. So they will still hand out the awards and stuff.
 
I saw this movie over a week ago and I still didn't get over it. I watched it twice last week and I'm going to watch it again tonight. I just have to see it again. It's funny the little details that you only notice when you watch a movie repeatedly in a matter of days.

I was impressed by the cast (the little girl that played Briony was priceless); the score; the script (I just love the ending); and the directing (I didn't know Joe Wright was that good).

I don't think it will win any oscars, but that's ok. I just love that the movie exists so I can go the movie theater and appreciate it over and over again. It's a wonderful experience.
 
I just saw the trailer and aside from Keira and James, I think the little girl is really good too, judging by the short clips we see of her in that trailer.

Btw, Atonement's "Breathing Space" is in every fanvid now, I swear. :lol:
 
Atonement is still playing in the theaters here. I might be seeing it this weekend. :D

I love that dress that Keira Knightely is wearing. The green dress is soo beautiful!
 
Supposely I heard that "atonement" is coming out on dvd very soon even though it is still out in the movie theaters.
