Hey everyone:wave:
Wow this film was amazing really!I was confused a lil bit at first but wow!
They really captivate you with the story & everything!
James was well droolworthy hehe:thud:
I got my eye on him now!;) & the cast did a amazing job!

Is it based on a truee story?

It's just heartbreaking, but outstanding. James McAvoy was just amazing, everyone was. This film should definitely get Oscar nods, if there's any justice!

DeadMenTales, that wallpaper is stunning. :thud:

It plays along softly feeding your hopes, then it unravels confirming your biggest fears. :(

It's so well made, I think. The beach scene with the soldiers is simply STUNNING.

Hi can I be added I love this movie. I read the book which was a bit different the the movie, im not a crier but boy did i tear up at the end, I only saw part of it coming, i never geussed they both died just him :(

If you read the book, you get the get more in depth with Briony's perspective and get to sympathize more with her.

I thought the concept of this movie was brillant. BRIONY.
But Rob and Cecilia I really didn't care for.

Definitely one of the best films i've seen!! Huge in it's impact because it's so understated, and plain beautiful!

They gotta win Best Pic at the Acads (or at least gets nominated). *hopes really hard*

I can excuse her as a child but as an adult no. I don't think she atoned for anything, she was too self absorbed and telling the truth only when it was meaningless... oh and giving them a happy ending .

I didn't know James hated her character, I got the impression that she was generally sympathetic.

that dress was amazingly beautiful & KK-cooer I actually today heard Kelly Clarkson live, she was preforming for the pope across the street from my house, so I heard her from my roof considering we didn't have tickets & man her live she sounded great even from far away

I love love love this film. I read the books before the film, patiently waited for the release of the film. Was not disappointed what so ever. The cinematography was beautiful, I loved all the continuous steady-cam shots. I'm a sucker for heartbreaking movies, the ending was wonderful. Not to mention the score was done so well to, I can hear the typewriter now

Oh and Kiera's green dress, looked lovely on her.
