Since i must attempt to answer this question or get reported by Pacfans, i will do so. Yes, i agree with Teddy Atlas.

manny pacquiao's last six opponets had sufferd career defining, or career defining losses, before steping in the ring with pacquiao? me, truth, carys, troy, rambo, have been saying this for the last three years! eleven out sixteen? fighters limited by fatal technical flaws, emasculated, brutal losses? worn down by pacquiao weight demands? the pacquiao "hit list" reads like a who's who of fighters looking for a last big paycheck! we've been saying this stuff for the last three or four years! the kicker is this.....instead of fighting mosley when mosley was riding high off his upset TKO of margarito..pacquiao chooses margarito, and then fights mosley after he looked terrible in his one-sided loss to....you guessed it....floyd mayweather jr.! floyd has always fought guys on the top of their game. and they calling this guy one of the best ever? please!

jeff we know why you posted this.manny pacquiao's recent opponents were mosley, margarito, clottey, cotto, hatton and dela hoya. noticed how big these guys are compared to manny? and remember how the world thought it was like a circus when pacquiao vs dela hoya was set? remember how some thought oscar and cotto will kill pacquiao in the ring? but then after defying the odds, you say oh oscar suddenly grew old when he just gave floyd one hell of a fight. oh cotto was drained when he was given enough time to meet that weight and oh yeah cotto just weighed 146 against clottey so a pound drained him??

if you want to question manny's recent opponents, can you name a fighter with better resume? he just beat all top welterweights with the exception of that one we all want and now you try to belittle his wins, i dont get that sir. can you think of anyone that would destroy mosley, margarito, clottey, cotto, hatton and dela hoya same way manny did?

This things will not even an issue if floyd is willing to fight in the ring...But you know floyd doesnt want to fight in the right, he just want to fight pacquiao in a costume contest...

Anyway teddy atlas analysis is right in the world of mongoloid and retarded people...Teddy atlas wants pacquiao to fight floyd? doesnt want to fight pac.... Who besides floyd is more notable fighter that can challenge pacquiao? andre berto? come on..Then.... Almost pacquiao's opponents are great fighter...ls that there is nothing left for pac to fight...

I dont think marquez is more dangerous fighter than, mosley, margarito, clottey or cotto....
lIf you think marquez is more dangerous than any one these figher then your a mongoloid or a retarded like teddy atlas....

If people agreed with Teddy then Pacquiao wouldnt be ranked NO1,simple as that really. If Pacquiao is as bad as you make out then every other boxer active today must be awful. All you are doing is playing down every boxers career when you say that the best boxer is no good.

Teddy Atalas has been proven to be both contradictory and bitter, sometimes he calls it right, about 60% of the time he makes out of this planet calls.

Do you think your opinion more important in boxing circles than The Ring etc? " Manny Pacquiao rated No1 by the ring,by ESPN etc etc but Jeff Soriano does not rate him so we go with Jeff instead of boxing people"

I agree that Pacquiao is always fighting guys who come off losses or horrible performances. Not saying that Mosley would've won if Pacquiao would've fought him after he beat Margarito but the thing is he didn't fight him after that. Instead he fights him after losing terribly and after a horrible performance against a nobody. He fought Clottey even though Clottey lost to Cotto and then he fought Margarito who is accused of being a cheater.

And his fights are always at catchweights when there are no need for catchweights. if he can make Welterweight and the opponent can make Welterweight then that's it. No need for a catchweight. The demand for Mosley originally was a catchweight of 142 lbs, why? Mosley is naturally 147 lbs. Then the demand is 145 lbs, though not much difference, why can't Cotto just be at 147 lbs? Then the catchweight for Margarito of 150 lbs, which Pacquiao had no intention of making because he weighed in at 144 lbs which gave him a huge advantage. he did not fight a Jr. Middleweight nor did he make Jr. Middleweight. He stayed at a weight he felt comfortable at instead of making a weight he wouldn't be able to handle. if he can't make the weight why ask for it? And people all him and EIGHT division champion. he won a vacant belt by fighting a Welterweight and it wasn't even at Jr. Middleweight.

I think Atlas goes out of his way to criticize Pacquiao, which is not in his job description.
Personally I don't care what kind of fights he has, his interest should be in making money while he can, rather than satisfying Atlas or others in the talking business.
In one interview Atlas stated that Pacquiao has wasted his career because he did not fight great fighters, and when questioned as to whom he should have fought Atlas admitted that there wasn't really anyone that he could have fought so it wasn't his fault.
So why did Atlas volunteer that Pacquiao has avoided fights when he admitted Pacquiao had not avoided fights a few seconds later?
If announcers would stick to announcing we could enjoy the fights more.
