what can I use to get off of ativan

it works but I hate the anxiety I get after it wears off and how I need it

I only take .5-1 mg a day but I want to stop it. my psych does not want to handle my case anymore because I am too difficult-too many meRAB with too many side effects etc

what do you think?
 
If you are only taking 0.5mg - 1mg per day, your withdrawl symptoms should be presonably mild.

if you can get some 2mg diazepam tablets, I would start off takine 3 per day (6mg) and reduce it to nill over 2 weeks.

If you cant, then restrict to 0.5mg per dasy of ativan for a week, then 0.25mg per day for a week

Atarax might help you, it is a mild, non habit forming tranquiliser.
