Athiests, how would you argue against this speech?

He's assuming that every single person who uses technology, over indulges, and doesn't explore the world around them. This is true in some cases, but to clump everybody into such a category is completely ridiculous.

He's assuming the worst of everyone, and grossly generalizing. His argument doesn't hold any water.
 
Science is a tool to solve our problems and answer our questions. If it scares you to understand how the world around you works, stay ignorant and skip out on science class. Choose not to believe in it. Whatever.

Honestly, I don't see why people group science and religion so close together. They are two different things.
