Atheists, why do you spend hours per day in R&S discussing someone who does not exist?

What's the point?

Us Christians don't spend our time discussing pink polka dotted unicorns
Zebra: Haha..arrognt as usual ;)
-ant
Hasya: The point here is, God obviously is not "fairy tale" to us Christians
La Condesa: Saying religion is evil, is like saying money is evil. Those things are both neutral. Evil comes from humans, not from objects or concepts
Richard: lol...*sigh* yes. But then again, I just expected a flood of sarcasm so I'm not overly surprised...;)

At last... a Christian who admits that god doesn't exist! (As for the unicorns, tell me more!)

No, but you do spend lots of time rambling about gay people, is that because you wish you were?

It's not the "God" section. It's the "Religion and Spirituality" section.

Both of which certainly exist. And are worth discussing.

I see two reasons:

1. They are searching for a way to fill that God shaped hole in their heart.

2. They hate Christ so much that they have to attack His followers.

I am going with option #2

Because eternity has been put in every person. God is a major cause of discussion like nothing else, regardless of whether one will admit it or not.

When people who believe in unicorns get the political power necessary to discriminate against you, I'll bet you'll spend a lot of your time talking about unicorns.
