Atheists, why do some of you complain about having "In God We Trust" on our money?

By God, I mean the god of “WWJD” fame, which is the one true Lord (all those other gods that entered late into the bracelet market aren’t of any concern for the purposes of this question).

The fact is the creator of the universe has always specifically aligned himself with our man-made boundaries, which validates why we have him on our money. No offense is intended. For example, if you believe in a Native American god, well, it looks like your god lost to our God and the money can serve as a reminder not to be such a sore loser. It can be a character builder.

We need God on money because we need reminders. Rainbows are not enough. Perhaps in the future though, Christian scientists could work on a special hologram to put God’s name on rainbows too. As Christians, it is our duty to put our already omnipresent God everywhere. I’ve recently spoken with NASCAR about possibly covering their cars with religious paraphernalia. There could even be a life-sized cross on top of their cars that would be designed to make them more aerodynamic.

Anyway, why the fuss over money? It’s not like you atheists see it every day. I assume you guys have to resort to only paying with credit because most of you are in massive debt due to your sinful ways and booze addiction. Plus, you do not have the benefit of God blessing you (I remember when I worked in retail. I could always spot someone who believed in evolution by how many credit cards they had).

Anyway, why the complaints?
