Atheists: What proof of God would be enough?

a) If you had a personal encounter with God... and he walked into your bedroom in all his spender right now. Would you believe?

I honestly think most atheists would say no. Because, perhaps you are schizophrenic?

b) If God opened the sky and suddenly we could all see him sitting up in heaven on his throne?

I don't think atheists would believe even if this happened. Especially if it didn't remain open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. CNN would doubtless report on it as some magician's trick. They would continue to run tests on the sky... forever.

See what I mean? It seems to be that no matter what, atheists will still say Present your God, and we will believe.

What presentation do you want? How could God present himself and you would not call it schizophrenia, nor would you continue for eternity to re-run more and more tests, yet never believing.

Perhaps since God is all-knowing, he knows this already, that no presentation of himself would be accepted. Maybe that's why he only shows himself to those who he knows would believe. Maybe God is not interested in a mob of unholy sinners poking and prodding at him endlessly with needles and scanners.

So what proof would be sufficient, where you would accept? You can't get close to God, as a sinner, with your needles and machines. You would die. His holiness would break forth upon you, and rightly so, like a match getting close to lighter fluid. But without getting too close, and without picking and prodding at him with endless needles and machines, what proof would you accept?

If the answer is nothing then you are admitting that you are not willing to accept credible evidence, or you are saying that there is no such thing as credible evidence, both of which indicate strong bias.
