...insulting? This isn't an attack (although, admittedly, the question looks hostile). I was just wondering how you talk about the subject of religion out in the real world. Are you more sensitive, do you go out of your way to not offend, or are you exactly the same as you are on here?
If you don't discuss religion outside of R&S then obviously this question doesn't really apply to you and you don't have to inform me of just that. I'd still like to hear your opinion on it though, Christian, Atheists, or otherwise.
Gazoo: Why would you assume im Christian? Im not. thats like the 8th time someone has assumed that. i don't even believe in organized religion. You're like a fundamentalist version of an atheist: "everyone who believe in a god is a fundamentalist Christian who condemns everyone to hell!". its so needlessly hostile.
sigh. ok. i know it looks like a generalization. but there are insulting atheists on here JUST as there are insulting Christians on here.
take the question and apply it to yourself, not atheists as a whole group. if you're not insulting just say "im not insulting". atheists can be so touchy... (i mean, *some* atheists. sorry. didn't mean to generalize)
artistic hand: does my question strike you at all as funny? do you just write rhetorical questions instead of real answers?
i know theres nothing insulting about stating your opinion. im talking about the atheists who actively condemn Christianity and the like, saying things like "you're all fundies who condemn everyone to hell!". now i consider that insulting. atheists insult Christianity on here ALL the time to get their point of view across (as do Christians).
I really shouldn't have directed this question at just atheists, it applies to everyone.
