...left the Garden? The reason why I am asking you is because I have seen people make the claim that the Bible contradicts the fossil record of humans. It does NOT.
The Bible AGREES with the fossil record that modern humans are hundreds of thousands of years old. That is a FACT.
Yes, the Bible does trace the genealogy from Adam to Jesus but it is MORE THAN OBVIOUS that was NEVER meant to be taken literally by the original men who wrote it. If something contradicts science and common sense, obviously that part of the Bible is a metaphor.
Eastern genealogies are almost never in direct closed sequence. Why do you force a Western cultural view on an Eastern document?
Here's what one person wrote: "You might recall that Jesus called those of His generation children of Abraham. Hell, at that point the Bible claims the earth is only 2000 years old."
Read the Bible (the RIGHT way) and you will see it NEVER contradicts science.
What are your thoughts?
Do you agree?
Even if you don't know Jesus, no one can deny that the genealogy in the Bible stands the test of time.
Scientific evidence abounds that disputes the billions and billions of years view. Check out every single trace mineral percentage in the ocean. By their percentages the oceans (close to the earth's age) are less than 200,000 years old.
