i'm curious to know if any of you have done research on scientists who believe in God. and if you have, why do you still choose not to believe? so many scientists believe in God, and they have really good explanations of why they do. how can anyone just ignore it. and if you were an atheist who now believes in God, what changed your mind. and if you are an atheist who has not done research, i think you should, just to expand your knowledge. and i'm not trying to be a jerk about it. i'm not saying that everyone should believe in God, but at least realize that there is more to life. it doesn't have to involve a God. and don't be so close-minded. if scientists believe, doesn't that tell you something? and please, i just want a friendly debate. i'm not trying to make enemies. thanks
i never said that atheists were scientists, but most atheists believe more in science, it's a fact
yes I do believe in God and no i don't want to keep God to myself. but what I believe is very complex. i'm just saying there is more than what we see on this earth. i have had so many supernatural experiences in my life, and believe me i'm not a looney bin. but i can't ignore what is all around us. evidence that God exists is all around us.
i don't all the names of every scientist off hand, but all you have to do is google it. in the latest study they found that 40% of american scientists believe in God. look up francis collins, he is a scientist and former atheist.
i don't think that anyone is getting my point. i never said that i'm 100% right. and yes there are more non-believing scientists than believing ones, however the ones who believe have much better arguments. i have spent so much time researching this because i myself went through a time of questioning God's existence, so i turned to science. and most believing scientists were once atheist.
