Atheism vs Theism Open Debate?

I put this here so that people can show reasons for and against God. I don't want answers like, beauty, design, the Bible, faith or first cause or any kind of insults and the burden of proof is on theism with rebuttals for atheism. I am agnostic and want to know how people think on this so I'm not going to select an answer. Now get started :P.
 
According to the Bible, the evidence of God is faith. Hebrews 11:1 says "now, faith is the evidence of things not seen." That means that the only ones who can see the spiritual realm are those who believe. Now your premise is simply that "I can't see it therefore it does not exist."
 
@mt75689: Does the phrase "Logical Fallacy of Special Pleading" mean anything to you?

You don't get to just declare by fiat that your God doesn't have to play by the rules -- you either prove it, or admit that you're just talking out of your backside.

@Fabio: Bare Assertion, Assuming the Answer -- just because you say it, that doesn't make it so.

@One Brave Mouse: Lewis and Aquinas have been debunked for ages -- even my philosophy professor ( a former seminary student and current Catholic) freely acknowledges it. Aquinas assumes (without evidence) that existence is a necessary characteristic of "perfection". And biologists have already beaten your brethren bloody over the argument from design...

@A Friend: Uhhh...no -- atheism does NOT by any stretch of the imagination deny spirituality. Only the supernatural. To even suggest such a thing shows a profound misunderstanding of the definition of "spiritual".
 
Religious people prove god's existence from "his" books..
That's like proving that Hercules existed depending on the "fact" that there was a story about him 3000 years ago..
And BTW, what makes god more or less real than Ra or the Incas' Sun God ??
The latter lasted for more than 5000 years and had an entire world (the "new world") of followers.. I think this makes him more real than the "modern XD" god.

The reason I believe that a god exists is that I can hear a spirit that claims to be Him talking to me. If I talk to Him, it turns into a conversation.
