At what point is finding out about a girl weird?

I've fallen for a girl on a bus (cliched, yeah I know) but I never get the chance to talk to her. I want to do something romantic and a little special like send flowers to her work as a surprise...but I need to follow her to find out where that is - weird? What else can I do to stand out?!
 
If I received flowers at work from a guy I'd seen once or twice on the bus (or she may have not even noticed you yet) I would be freaked out.. You need to talk to her before doing anything like that.. You're a complete stranger to her.. It's easy for that to turn 'cute and romantic' into just plain creepy..

Striking up some kind of a conversation is definitely the first step.

First of all i would try smiling at her and see how she respond,try this a few times before doing anything else.If she does start smiling back then maybe sit next to her on the bus and try and start a conversation with and im sure you could ask her out for a drink or coffee!! Good luck.
 
Bump into her "by accident" and say sorry and pick up all her stuff (also cliched so it fits in well xD). That'll get a good relationship going, just move on from there. :)
 
Do you see her on the bus every morning?
If so, maybe write a little note to her, and drop it on her lap when you leave the bus. On the other hand you could follow her, but that could be a bit "spooky" on her behalf.
