...them or what are they calle? seen people fishing at the pier with multiple hooks on one line. what is this called and where can i get them? I know its something they bought because i seen them unwrap the pk
 
If you're talking about smaller rigs that have multiple hooks along a length, then that's a sabiki rig. You can buy them at many tackle shops.

Their purpose is to catch baitfish, preferably more than one at a time - hence the multiple hooks.

There are different sizes and presentations (ie. glow in the dark, "skin" colored, yarn, plastic, rubber, etc.)

I have been leaning toward Daiichi's. I like the quality better than other brands. But, they're all good enough. It's only for bait fish anyway!
