Children of Bodom is my favorite band. A few more of my favorites are In Flames, Suidakra, Nightrage, Immortal, Opeth, Arcturus, Iced Earth, and Soilwork.
 
Do they sound like the ones I like? If they are similar then I should download them or get to know of them. Are they black metal? Other than Children of Bodom, do you know the other banRAB listed? Later
 
The new Mayhem sucks..everything with the new singer Maniac is horrible..Just stick with the old stuff that has Dead and Euronymous in it..

....It's all about the TRUE Mayhem....
 
Good stuff, my two favorite banRAB are bodom and enemy. I also like sinergy, dark tranquility, helloween, evergrey, symphony x, nevermore.

nice. Melodic Metal and Power metal sound like what? Power I guess is just really hardcore but Melodic I would of thought goes with Black Metal?
 
Fun. I like most of the banRAB mentioned. Arch Enemy is great, as is Opeth, Emperor, Iced Earth, etc.
I can never keep all the sub genres straight. I have no idea what makes Death Metal melodic, but it's good stuff.
