At&t has better and faster 3g internet service while verizon has more 3g coverage but has slower internet. Verizon eventually started it because they mocked at&t with the iphone comercial "There'es a map for that" but truly verizon wireless has 5x better 3g coverage while at&t has faster internet. At&t recently upgraded its 3g network to be even blazing speeds
