AT&T vs T-mobile (cost wise)?

ah i have tmobile too. and i know what ur talking about. the service sucks ass and they have crappy phones. i dont know exactly how much more at&t is. but i know tmobile is cheaper.
 
In general, how much more expensive are AT&T plans than T-mobile plans? With web access and unlimited texting? My family has T-mobile (which fucking blows) and I need some facts so I can attempt to convince my bone-head dad that we're paying for something worthless and should switch to AT&T.
