AT&T iPhone unlock code?

I bought an iPhone off eBay from USA (Im from Australia) and it is locked to AT&T which we don't have in Australia and I need it to be unlocked so I can use it with a Telstra sim, Do I need a code? where can I get it from? PLEASE HELP!!
