Can you block someone from calling or texting? If you block someone by putting their number on rejection/block list, does the caller receive any recording or error message? Does anyone have a rejection or block list option on any AT&T phones? I was told it is rare to find on majority of phones. I am not sure if my phone has it or not. I was recommended to try smart limits. anyone used this?

Some LG phones have a call reject list. From what I read, it just disconnects the call.

I have never used Smart Limits, and I am not familiar with it. Some phones feature a setting to forward calls from a certain number right to VM, but no carrier I am aware of will completely block a phone call or text message from 1 certain number. If Smart Limits doesn't work, you would need to get a new number, or deal with the calls.

Smart Limits would be the best option for you. You can block calls/text from up to 15 numbers.

I have a Samsung A207 and I have the feature to block a number but it just sends it to voicemail. I ended up having to just change my number and had to be selective on who I gave my number to.

Personally, I go for a more simple method. I just record the number on my phonebook and then give it personalized ringtone, which is really just nothing. So every time they call, I get nothing. No ringtone, no vibrate, no problem, just silence.
