Timeline of Hair Disastry:
friday night: Dyed roots "Coolest Ash Blond" with 20 Developer from Sally Beauty Supply to lighten my roots.
RESULTS: tangerine colored roots.
Friday night part two: highlight hair with bleach to break up the orange color.
RESULTS: the highlights turn out fine, but i'm still unflatteringly orange.
tuesday night: in an effort to rid myself of the orange, I figure if i use the same dye i used friday, it will just lift my roots two more shades.
RESULTS: the exact same color (...orange)
tuesday night part two: i highlight the crap out of my hair to make the orange go away. RESULTS: this kind of works but now im ridiculously blond with orange lowlights. I look like Orange Julius.
tuesday night part three: I run to Rite Aid and dye my hair dark blond with L'Oreal Preference. RESULT: Auburn/gold roots with green/gray ends.
I am completely at a loss here of how to fix this situation, and before I dye my hair again... (I'm thinking of getting either a medium golden brown or a darker golden brown, or if i should stay away from gold??) any IDEAS?
