...as possible.? About six months ago, I rear ended a vehicle which appeared to be suddenly stopping on the hwy. The person in front of her was stopped, waiting to turn into a business. When I hit the person in front of me, she turned her wheel and crossed the center line and was hit slowly by an oncoming vehicle. It was assumed that I pushed her into the other lane. The truck that hit her vehicle was a large heavy duty work truck. (something like an entergy truck) The man driving the company vehicle seeked NO medical attention during the accident and seemed to be fine and giddy. He is now sueing me and my insurance, and the lady i hit and her insurance, for his bodily injuries, loss of work, loss of consortium, loss of enjoyment of life, loss of social services. I am so confused because he hopped out the vehicle, ran to my car and made sure i was okay. the whole time waiting for the police he was bullshitting with his friend and other men that were around. The car was on my name, and my insurance was on my name. He also served my dad papers, for no reason because he has nothing to do with my car, car insurance, or my accident. On our papers, it stated that I was believed to be running an errand for my dad. Which is a complete false statement. I was on my way to work. I already contacted my insurance and they seem like they are handling it. Can this guy come after our personal assets? What are things that I should be worried about and what should I do? And what should my dad do?
