I am half french/American(duo-citizenships). However my written English is weak. I can speak English pretty well but with a small French accent. I lived in the US for 15 years but came back to France. There are no jobs here for me and I am 49. I would like to learn programming(Actionscript 3, Flex) get certified and going back to the US to find a job. But I am old and without a degree. So if I get a certification here in Flex 4 and in 2 years going back to the Us is it a decent plan or not?? I don't know what to do and don't want waste my time learning a technology that will lead to nothing. Here in France you need at least a Master to be considered so there is no way that I can try here. Thanks for your suggestions.
