Astronomy question please help!?

Say the Crab Nebula has been expanding at an average velocity of 3000 km/ s^-1 since A.D. 1054. What was the average radius in 2008? And how long would it take light to travel across it? I have a feeling you need to use years but im not sure on what measurement. I'm thinking total seconds in a year . Please help
