Astronomy Homework Question?

In paraphrasing the question you have made in unclear to the point of being meaningless so there is no correct answer for this since we do not know what the real question was.

I am having trouble answering this question from my astronomy homework:

What would stars be like if hydrogen had the smallest mass per nuclear particle, stars would be brighter, all stars would be red giants, or nuclear fusion would not occur in stars of any mass?

It's a multiple choice question I just wrote it a bit differently from the book and didn't write the choices by letter.

Thank you all very much in advanced since I won't be able to comment on answers. Your help is very appreciated.
