Astronomy HELP!! X-Ray emisson!?

The source of the diffuse X-ray emission seen in our Galaxy is:
1. fusion reactions within dense clumps of gas in the interstellar medium
2. tenuous low density million degree gas in the interstellar medium
3. radiation from fission reactions within interstellar dust grains
4. the hot cores of forming stars scattered throughout the galaxy

WHICH ONE PLEASE HELP!!
