ok so i'm outside with my orion skyquest xt10 dob. and i'm using a tri mag 3x barlow and a 25mm and 10mm eye piece. I forgot which planet it was but my mom was like its the earths closest planet or something....But the thing is i could barely see it like i really had to work to see it. I would think with that much fire power i'd be seeing the aliens living on it. Any suggestions on what to do.
it was Venus. for some reason i couldn't pull the name off the top of my head. But i did use both the 25mm and 10mm eye piece separate then both with the barlow and still it was kinda ehhh.
