I went to see this at the cinema on Friday.
I mostly went as I fancied a cartoon and and I knew Matt Lucas (Little Britain) was doing one of the voices.

It was like watching an 90 minute PS2 game. The film was a bit of a mess and should never have hit the cinema. It tanked in the US and apparently Japan where Astro boy has a big following.

Has anyone else seen this and wondered why it even got a cinema release?
 
I would best describe it as being like watching an 90 minute episode of Pokemon. It is aimed at a similar age range. It lasts 90 minutes and after 20 I was looking at my watch and wondering if I should pop next door and see a different film. I stuck it out and still don't know why.
