I'm not sure if I am having an asthma attack or not. I've been taking Advair for a few days now (3 to be exact) and this morning, I woke up to the left side of my body feeling very strange.
It feels as if the muscles in the left side of my upper butt, upper leg, upper arm/shoulder area, and foot are tightening up or clenching. It's subtle pain, but very uncomfortable. I thought maybe I slept on it wrong, and got back in bed. The pain continued, and I'm still having the problem. I tried walking, and it is very uncomfortable to walk on that leg.
I am not having apparent issues with wheezing, but my chest feels tight as well, although I am not having chest pain, there is discomfort.
My stomach is also growling profusely, but I do not have an appetite. I feel sort of light headed/faint and shaky, which I am pretty sure comes from taking the Advair (which is a sample, mind you, I can not actually afford to purchase the diskus).
I remeraber having similar symptoms when my asthma was bothering me when I was really young, but I have not experienced these sensations since then.
I am not sure if this is due to increased anxiety, or if I may be having the on-set of an asthma attack.
I guess I will find out soon enough. I'm well enough to type this, right? Although, I am not feeling well at all, and would like an answer, and if this is not asthma-related, a suggestion or three to help me feel better.
Thank you for your time!
