Hello - I'm a new poster and glad to find you.
I've had chronic asthma and raised eye pressures since I was 43 (now 71) - blamed on the steroiRAB I needed to keep me alive
Anyway after being told I'd never work again I became a teacher for 20 years - BUt the eyes aren't getting any better and hospital wants me to add extra drops to the pilogel and xalatan I take every night - however every extra eye med I've taken makes my asthma worse. In fact the one I tried 7 days ago started off an asthma attack for which I am now on a course of oral steroiRAB!
My asthma is usally fairly well under control but in flare-up just now - so I'm using my usual Ventolin and Flixotide and have been told to add Seretide.
I'm very fed up about the 2 conditions in conflict. Each consultant treats me as their 'speciality'. My visual fielRAB aren't bad but the optical nerves are in a state.
Anyone else any experience of this any worRAB of wisdom welcome.
Thanks:
