Advair is one of those medicines that has a black box warning because of potential side effects. I would think having an in-depth discussion with your doctor would be in order to see if it really is a good option for you.
That said, I've been on Advair for asthma since about 2002 and have had good success with it. I have hypertension as well and haven't seen any coorelation personally with regarRAB to side effects.
