People can't live forever, the only possibility would be to live infinitely. Forever implies having no beginning and no end, we have beginnings, are a product of biological conception.
Assuming that heaven is real under no logical foundation other than assumption gets us no where further than where we started; not knowing and/or having no evidence of whether heaven is real. Ergo, everything else we think up about the other creatures is only an assumption too. Therefore it's up to your imagination. HAVE FUN!

The Bible does not say what will happen to animals when they die, but it does say that there will be animals in heaven.
The Bible also teaches that after we die we will get a new body, so I guess that is similar to reincarnation, but it only happens once and we don't come back as another person or creature.
People will live forever, because we are eternal beings. Scientists didn't create life, so they can't do anything about death.

Scientifically that living creatures decay after dying, then it ends that way, No proof or lack of proof of reincarnations yet..
Spirtually wise, that it is a 'BELIEF' that reincarnation does exists. Even the animals and bugs, that some other religions also believe that the spirits of some ancestors or other human beings can temporarily take place into another form of life after passing away.
That is why also some do not practice eating meat for such reason as that, and some never kill bugs as well..

All of the plants and animals including people seperate the energy of our lives from the bodies of our lives when we die. How we experience this is something outside of perception as we presently know it with our five senses and outside of time as we know it. It could be the experience of being the energy if we view it that way, which could be going to the light of heaven if we view it that way or through the fire of hell if we view it that way. or we could associate with the body that's left behind to feed the new life on earth, if we view it that way, or to haunt the earth if we view it that way.
