I am on with a new company who wants to implement a shopcart system developed in asp.net. Their current site is a mess and they are ready for a change. The current site is in Coldfusion. I am a coldfusion developer. I am not opposed to adapting to a new language. However I am concerned about my personal level of service. Right now I can whip up changes fairly quickly in coldfusion (because of the nature of the language), under .net I am afraid I will be less limber and more constrained on enhancements. What is everyone's take on this?
