I have ASP.net / SQL Server hosting with Aquest Hosting. I was happy with them for a long time, but their server went dark in Oct 2010 for a full 24 hours, and no attempt was made to refund my money or discount my plan because of it. That was not fun. Also, they have been unable to get gzip compression working in their IIS 7 server for several months, so I'm looking to change hosts.
Can anyone recommend an ASP.net SQL Server farmed/shared host that can provide these options:
SQL Server 2008
ASP.net 3.5 framework
Dedicated SSL which secures only a few pages (not all pages)
Real customer support, preferably not from India or the Philippines
Pricing around $20 - $30 a month
and of course, gzip compression for static and dynamic content
I tried M6.net but their service was awful, their support barely spoke/wrote English and their control panel did not work.
