ASP.NET 3.5 question about naming folders?

I am in a class where our textbook is Beginning ASP.NET 3.5 in C# and VB. The book is put out by Wrox and the author appears to be Imar Spaanjaars. I am stuck on page 251 which tells me to create folders that are named /Reviews and /About but the computer says the / is not an allowable characters to create a folder name with. ????????
