Asian Tsunami Film Planned

What does everyone think about this?

I think it is a very poor decision made by a sick individual who clearly does not want to give those affected a chance to mourn, let alone recover.

A factual documentary enlightens us all to the tragic effect the tsunami had in asia, there is no need to cash in on a story about it, let alone one based on a fictional american survivor, and then hide behind the excuse that the money from the film will be donated to charity - as we have all seen, it is not money they need, it is help and order. Another thing they do not need is some ignorant director cashing in on an awful tragedy, not even a year after it occured.

i totally agree they should leave these things alone. im still waiting for some money hungry american to mkae a full blkown sept 11th film. it will probably be around the 10 year anniversary or something

Totally agree with you lollapalooza, I think it's all about money these days. Never mind that the families of the people who died are still grieving.

sickening.

it might be wrong in many peoples eyes but as with every disaster its only a matter of time before some hollywood big shot sees his chance for a fast buck or two
