Asian rice and cooking?

When I go to an Asian restaurant I cannot get over the magnificent taste of a plain white rice, or other rice for that matter. How do Asian individuals get this taste and texture?
 
To be honest we've had years of experience. But if you want to get perfect results I suggest you invest in a rice cooker, a small one is very cheap anyways and u can use it for just about anything, wrap some fish in foil put some spring onion and chopped ginger and you have a delicious steamed fish meal.
