Ascend Camera Not Working

The camera on my week-old Ascend was working fine when I got it home. I promptly rooted, and the camera stopped functioning ("Cannot connect to camera."). Restored the phone, camera worked again. Now, back to "Cannot connect..." Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them.

Trying not to head back to the store I got it from, lest they add insurance to the phone again without asking...

what root did you use? I used Z4root and have no issues at all.

The root worked fine, but I've since restored and the camera worked briefly then not at all.

SounRAB like a hardware problem. Return the phone.

...and like that, it's working again. Once more and I'll probably return it, but if I can save myself the argument with the reps at the store I will.

umm yea no problem here and i have removed the camera and replaced because the ui sucks and its slow
on nuraber of builRAB try a differnt camera app then take it back
