I don't recall anyone promoting thinly veiled advocacy for the assasination
of President Bush. Not even close. I heard people saying he was a criminal
and should be impeached and jailed for various reasons, but that's something
completely different and within the law, however radical. In this case we're
talking about a metaphor for assasination, obviously outside the law. I
hated Bush with a passion, and so did many others. But I never said, nor
heard anyone advocate anything like this. I've hated other presidents too,
and never heard this kind of treasonous crap against them either. The reason
for the outrageous, unprecedented accelerated vitriole against the current
President may be racism for some, others may have other reasons, but it's
unconscionable, and unacceptable, an obvious wish for assasination. There is
no language strong enough to express the revolting degenerate nature of this
kind of talk.
