As a Non-American I want to congratulate the USA

No, but if i recall correctly Biden does have some mpaa/riaa connections and has been in favour for certain restrictions on internet-related things.

This thread is the reason why Obama is a better choice. If we have to choose between a douche and a turd sandwich at least the douche garners respect for America as a country that rules with reason and intelligence again.

as an american, I am constantly bothered by the potential the US holds, but has squandered due to bad policies from the 50's on. Much of this disgust lies with the average American, who has become complacent and unwilling to strive for bettering themselves and their nation.

If Obama lives up to half the hype he has generated, America can get back on the right track. But I seriously doubt he will. His track record so far is actually pretty dismal.

I agree with this. Obama's eloquence is his greatest asset, and I really hope that now that he isn't a freshman senator he will be willing to step into his role and now be badgered to vote for terrible policies like he was the last 4 years.

it's cool man. i think the republican party will go through a paradigm shift in the next generation. they can't hang onto this totalitarian right wing nutjob crap that bush/cheney/gonzalez have strove for. they'll likely take a more moderate, libertarian approach
