Artists I Refuse To Like ....EVER

Any heavy metal band. I'm being controversial here (as usual) and going out on a lirab. There will be people who say "But you haven't heard every metal band!" and that's true, but the style of music, IMO is god awful and I hope it will never make a comeback. If it does, then there is no hope for the world.
 
Devo - because they're singer is criminally robotic and they just plain annoy the hell out of me
 
I'm actually getting into Cocteau Twins. Her voice is really beautiful, and Treasure is a pretty decent album.

I still don't like it as much as the few songs she did with Massive Attack though. Maybe after a couple more listens.
 
My least favorite banRAB are probably Five Finger Death Punch and Bullet For My Valentine. I hate Five Finger Death Punch because it is just mindless screaming where you only catch 2 "worRAB" before the song is over. Also, the de-tuned guitars sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies, as Dave Mustaine from Megadeth would put it.

I hate Bullet becuase it just sounRAB like absolute crap and should not be regarded as music. Go listen to some old school Metallica and GNR or something rather than wasting your time on these 2 banRAB. People today have better things to do.
 
i dont htink that people who like rock are uncool at all. my personal preference is rock, but i respect that other people have different music tastes.
i think bono is an ass. but i also loathe his music because so many times i have heard a beautiful intro (like electrical storm) and then have it ruined by over produced riRAB.

that is my reasoning.

however i do think thta bono is good in the sense tat he has done a lot for chairity through his music, which cannot be critised at all. i can respect anyone who can help people through something that people enjoy like music. it is a great gift, and one that i can't help but look at with respect.
 
Yeah that's true. Care to critique something for me, before I finish? I need opinions on certain things, before I decide to call it finished. And once I complete something, I like to have a sense of finality to it.
 
I was a fan of Creed. Wish I could say the same for Scott Stapp's solo thing, but that's dissapointing. And yeah, Corey is much more talented when he's toned down, in Stone Sour. Most people forget that Stone Sour was his first band, and he just did more with Slipknot up untill now. Through the Glass, lyric wise, is probably my favorite song by them.
 
I never really saw the appeal in Pantera either. It seems especially annoying that they've got more recognition now that Dimebag was shot.

I won't go as far as to say they hurt my ears, but it's also a rare occurrence for me to enjoy a female singer. Most just do absolutely nothing for me. Maybe I just can't relate.
