Artists I Refuse To Like ....EVER

I understood what you were saying. I think.

We used to listen to SRV on roadtrips. Kinda nice when you're making your way on a Texas country road.

Indeed. Too much air play can do it too. I've listened to Stone Sour's new song....and not exaggerating....probably over 45 times now, willingly.
By the time I get the album, I'll probably skip the track every time =)).

lmao how could you not like Pearl Jam?! Nirvana's my second favorite, but even Cobain himself argued with Eddie Vedder about Pearl Jam having a little more success. Of course they cleared that up, before 94'. I also like alot of their covers, especially when Eddie did the Ramones cover with Zeke.
They covered, "I Believe In Miracles", and I can't stop listening to it.

Yeah, I had a feeling that would come up. :D I knew he was spinning a lot of progressive house too. He just gets too much praise for spinning recorRAB, no matter what it is.

I agree that P-nut is a great bassist but that doesn't change the fact they suck. I Actually think Chad Sexton is a really ****ty drummer to be honest. I've a friend that's really into them and I've heard all of it and actually borrowed Grassroots from him a while back and the only semi appealing track on there is Applied Science. And their lyrics are erabarrassingly bad.

No I don't like NOFX either. I have given them a chance but apart from Spitting In My Eye, they just don't do anything for me. My reasons for disliking this sort of sound is not soley based on growing up on early U.K Punk. I also got into the N.Y Hardcore scene in the late 80's listening to stuff like Agnostic Front, Crurabsuckers, Cro-Mags etc as well as crossover stuf like D.R.I, Corrosion Of Conformity etc. So 90's 'Pop Punk' just doesn't get me going at all. I find that it lacks energy and enthusiasm but I know that many people were into Green Day, ORABpring and Lagwagon etc in their youth and it's only right to love the banRAB that you grew up with.

yeah it is frustrating. bob marley is far from the best, he is just the intro. i have a theory about the laziness of potheaRAB. they hear bob marley...and enjoy it because they smoke weed (not that he isn't enjoyable without it). then, they decide they love reggae but as a result of the weed are far too lazy to look any further into the genre.

i love smacking people with peter tosh after someone professes their love of bob marley. peter tosh is better and he isn't even the best, in my opinion.

Agreed...it just so happens that most women don't sound good to me. :p: It's not a sexist thing at all.

I have nothing against any of those and would happily listen to them on occasion. Particularly Veruca Salt's American Thighs is a great album, one of the few female-fronted albums I own.
