What did you think of the first 3 1/2 hours for Season 14 of PBS Kids' Arthur cartoon series:
The Wheel Deal (introducing Lydia Fox)/The Buster Report
The Agent of Change/D.W. Unties the Knot
Nicked by a Name/The Play's the Thing

2 more Season 14 1/2 hours are slated to air on PBS Kids Halloween week, and 5 more 1/2 hours of Arthur Season 14 are slated to air Spring 2011.

FUN FACT: Did you know the original voice of Arthur from 1996 to 2000 - Michael Yarmush - still voices in some Arthur episodes as Slink of the Tough Customers?
 
Anyone still know if Akom's still working on the series?

Or is it a different company? I ask as I'm too lazy, plus I don't get PBS anymore.
 
Odd, they're doing HD episodes of the Simpsons still, which amuses me since their latest episode is the one with the controversial opening (MoneyBART)

I wonder why Akom didn't do any after season 11, they weren't able to go HD yet? (Though I highly doubt any Asian company, whether it was Akom, Wang, TMS, Etc. were ready at that time) Heck, we didn't accept HD into our television until 2009 at the earliest.
 
I remember there being a ton of speculation that season 11 was the last. Anyone else remember that? Also, I wish they DID stop in season 11, because the quality of episodes has dropped dramatically since then.
 
i saw the episode wheel deal, and wanted to mention its about time they use that character in an episode. I still member seeing the episode of arthur where they introduced the character as made by a random kid. Didn't realize that it was actually going to be a character on the show....

Some of those sound like good episode titles. I'm especially interested in the Grandpa Dave episode, since he doesn't appear a lot.

Am I the only one who thinks there are too many Buster episodes?
