You're welcome for the news :D I agree Gladys, they're probably just doing it to have Morgana out of the way :pout: I can understand her going evil slowly after everything that's happened to her, but not after two episodes :rolleyes: I dunno, a musical episode could be entertaining :lol: I know ASH can really sing, and he did a musical episode on Buffy too and carried it really well, so it would be kind of cool to see that. And omg can you just imagine Bradley bursting out into song :lmao:

Yeah, YouTube can take my breath away with the idiotic comments I see on any video - fandoms, RL, etc. I'm glad I don't actually have an account, so I am not tempted to snark back. The ArMor love is going pretty well :D Between that spoiler and the video we got of one of our ArMor shippers being shown meeting Katie and getting an ArMor pic signed in the official SyFy vid we've had a busy day :lol: Oh and we've been discussing the supposedly "official" Merlin facebook and the fact that there's a new show coming out based on King Arthur called Camelot. Lots of good stuff to discuss :D

Yeah the spoiler doesn't exactly fill me with warm fuzzy feelings either...:look:

They are literally shoe-horning her into s1 Morgana's roles, aren't they? It's disgusting. And the thing is, it's not like on other shows where one woman is written well and the rest aren't. Morgana, Morgause, Nimueh, a few other bits players, are/were all really well-written (for the most part). It's really just Gwen. She is, and has always been, the weakest link in Arthurian mythology. It's like Johnny Capps is secretly trying to make me hate Gwen more than I already do. Well, it's a job well done sir. I can't stand her!


Hell no! And while I don't doubt they'll give her one-dimensional storylines as a 'villian', I also don't doubt that Katie will rock the hell out of her scenes. As usual. Head Bitch In Charge, bitches.

oh.my.god. you guys I was at a random bookstore in the UK today and to my pleasant surprise they had some of the Merlin books! So what's an ArMor fan to do? I proceeded to buy them all of course :lmao: They are so full of ArMor :love: I'll post some of the passages once I'm done reading.

Besides, hopefully you'll get to go to Pierrefonds and see her again. I read that last year, they gave out goodie-bags at the screening. This year they should include Tums and airsickness bags, to get through some of the sappy gAG scenes.




I do trip a lot! :lol: They're very clingy. Three of them sleep in bed with me, and they snore terribly.


I'm going to look through some videos and the OP for good ArMor songs. The artist assigned to my BigBang fic is going to do a fan mix, which i am excited about. :D We're going to do some instrumental songs as well. Now I just have to get my ass writing. :goof:
 
Stars Head To Camelot TV Series
Arthur story gets a new twist

A quite impressive young movie level cast have signed up to new TV series Camelot for the US Starz channel and GK-TV. Joseph Fiennes, Eva Green, Jamie Campbell Bower and Tamsin Egerton will lead the show, based on the Arthur legend, and suddenly we're paying attention to it.

Once-and-future vampire Campbell-Bower will take the role of Arthur himself, with Egerton as his unfaithful Queen Guinevere. Green will play Morgana le Fey, half-sister to Arthur, bad-ass sorceress and occasional incest fan, with Fiennes playing a less wrinkly than usual Merlin.

If you don't know the King Arthur legend, well, you need to get a bit more into your culture, frankly. But Arthur was the once and future King of the Dark Ages who (according to legend) managed to fit a bit of protecting the country in between marrying a wife who cheated on him with his best mate, shagging his half-sister (accidentally, in fairness), pulling swords from stones and being a High King with a taste for circular furniture. And if that doesn't say serial drama to you, we don't know what does.

Shooting starts on the series this month, so with luck we'll see it next year. So what do you think? Will this be any challenge to the BBC's Merlin? Is it fair to expect vastly more sex and violence?

well i did my googling to see how the new versions of arthur and morgana would look and i was definately extatic about eva green (no not just because she looks like katie :lol:) she looks like she could definately pull off awesome powerful bad ass (HOT) woman/witch/mystical being with supernatural powers of awesome!.... just like katie!
and i was so hoping jamie whose-it-something (i'm not good with names that confuse me :lol:) would be blonde and i think he is (maybe he's a baby-bradley?) :lol: anyway all the pictures he was extremely pale (like he'd been pulling a harry potter and lived under the stairs for six months) and he had this whole i just rolled out of bed and then got myself electrocuted hair style going on... not to stay he couldn't catch a few rays and buy a hair brush... nothing against him obvivously but i don't get this whole let's make ourselves look weird i mean yeah guys i get that baggy pants seem like a good idea (until you trip over them or they fall down or something) but whatever if you want to subject the world to seeing where your mum buys your wiggles boxers then go ahead but at least try and do something with your hair or try not to get MORE pale! sigh!!!!

and he is kind of young, then again i saw parts of mists of avalon (yes the armor parts... what like anyone cared about the rest of the story... or as i like to call it 'scenes useless to and getting in the way of armor!') so the age difference thing could work!
so basically eva green = MADE OF WIN! QUEEN OF AWESOME! & SECOND IN COMMAND OF KICK-ASS-ERY! (katie is first in command clearly :lol:)
and jamie, well i'm hopinh for a lot - but as long as he can act, has chemistry with eva and FIXES HIS HAIR! then i don't care

so basically i hope camelot's arthur is s1 merlin arthur plus less disney let's aim towards kids crap!

wow my 'in short' turned out to be not so basically i'm trying to say i'm not hating on jamie he's one half of my most favourite pairing ever (seriously i'm now very into arthurian legend - even though i sometimes can't wrap my head around it... i'm thinking of enrolling in arthurian legends by professor cherryl-awesome! does such a class exist? if not it should MASSIVE HINT!HINT!)
i just want camelot to be so awesome j.capps can watch it be like 'oh god what have i done' and then FIX MERLIN!
