art question? shading- plz answer!?

i'm going into 7th grade and i got into the art enrichment program (an advanced art class that i take instead of regular art) i have a summer project. I have to draw six eggs in a bowl. the project counts 4 25% of our first semester grade and if i do suckishly i get kicked out! so, plz help me. if u have any tips or websites for me to look at that can help, plz answer. also any tips on how to be a better artist in general! thnx
