Art Help?!! Please!! [Painting]?

For art today we had to do a series of painting.
but since i didnt finish it was kept as homework.

anyways we had to use acrylic and do:
1)Glaze Painting
2)Pasto Painting
3)Texture Painting

all using acrylic on paper. i didnt really understand it.

for glaze we had to draw 4 boxes painted in 4 diff colours and wait for it to dry. am i meant to just get a different colour and paint over all 4 of the boxes?

and for one of them we had to use a crayon and paint over it and for another we had to just paint one layer, then paint another and so on so it became thick!
but im soooo totally lost!

so basically my ques is:
What are you meant to do for those types of paintings?!

Not sure what you are asking. You described how to do the paintings, and then asked how to do the paintings, so I am lost.

I think you mean IMpasto. Impasto is a technique of applying paint thickly.
