So i'm turning 18 in about a week and the army or some dumb ass people sent me this thing saying i have to register for the army cause 'its the law' or some stupid shit like like that..well fuck that, they can fight there own wars im not registering anything..send me to jail...fuck them. Anyone else get stupid shit like that?
 
youre required to sign up for the selective service(which means your NOT enlisted unless there is a draft for war) when you're 18 not the actual army,the army is volunteers. this is if you live thing the US dont know bout anywhere else.
 
trust me, you want to register. you have to register to do things like vote, apply for financial aid, and other things.. its worth it to register. plus they stop hounding you about it. im against being made to go to war against my own free will but when you register its not like its a contract or anything saying you will go to war if drafted. swallow your young, ego driven pride and register. if and only if they start up the slavery act, i mean the draft again you can sit in jail just like me.....
 
youre not the only one against a draft. I dont believe in it. As well as I fear the day it happens again due to I dont want to lose my man. And that they are also considering making the women sign up as well. honestly do you think a scrawny ,can barely lift15llbs without losing my breath girl could fight??
 
Yes, everyone over the age of 18 has registered for selective service. That's irrelevant, since females don't 'fight' in the military anyway. You might get deployed to a war zone, but you won't be on the front lines fighting.
 
Doesn't matter, Tink. The government wouldn't give a shit if you couldn't lift the gun they wanted you to shoot with. The only way someone can legally get out of the draft is if they're determined to be medically unable to perform the tasks expected of soldiers (keep in mind that not all soldiers are on the battle field. One could be assigned to be a nurse or air traffic controller or anything).

Not to mention that if Dubya tried to start up a draft, so much shit and so many sexual equality legal battles would occur .. I have a very hard time believing that a male-only draft will ever happen again in the US.

Just hang up some fake signs that read; "Pumps and Flats Buy one pair, get a second pair free. Today only".
Then point at the enemy and say their buying all the cutes pairs of shoes. :gay:
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't your dodge the draft by simply going to college?

And for people who aren't fit for combat, the US military is spending alot of money on drone weaponry, meaning less soldiers on the field and more machines to do the dirty fighting. I'm so glad women don't HAVE to register. God Bless America. Home of the shittiest government in the world. (Ok, that might not be true, but it sure isn't a perfect government.)
 
ok, so you're anti military. by not registering you're proving one thing: you're a dumbass. just comply. you have a 99.9% of NOT being drafted...let alone seeing action. i registered last year and i havent received one letter from the Marines yet. (although in HS, my friends and i often joked "yea dude, if i fuck up in life...screw it im joinin the marines" simply cuz i WANTED to fight).
