My ex bf was deployed for 15 months to iraq, and has since been out of the army for a year. He hasnt quite been the same since, but in the past month it has gotten just so much worse. Hes depressed and cant sleep, says sometimes hes angry for no reason. When I was ready to finally talk to him about it and how much I want to support him, he tells me he wants to be alone. He doesnt want to be with me anymore. He "takes care of everybody else and now wants to focus on himself." We've been together for about 5 years, since i was 15. Part of me thinks he just wants some freedom, but this just seems so cold and so abrupt. Im so worried I wont get him back.
