i'm a army reservist and think i need to speak to someone because i have been going through a lot mentally. is there someone that i can speak to on base or something?

if you live near ANY branch's base, you can see a chaplain. other than talk you can call 1-800-suicide or 1-800-273-talk. The latter has a section for veterans...even if you haven't deployed you can still speak to them as a veteran.

You can talk to the Chaplain, your Company Commander, Top SGT, Platoon Leader, a Medic, a Doctor (medical or psychological), even to one of your fellow troops. Seek help!!!

of course there are. im pretty sure they have counseling. i hope you feel better. never forget that if you ever feel alone that God is watching you from above. He's never left your side so if you ever feel like ur in a situation where no one can hear you or you feel like you cant talk to people, just pray and talk to the Lord above cause he's always listening and will never leave your side.
